Then we’ll discuss practical issues, such as finding an experienced physician and connecting with government programs that are available to help people with HIV.
You’ll also hear from a peer who has an interesting story about learning her HIV diagnosis and the steps she took to get connected to care.
This may sound overwhelming for someone who has just found out they are HIV-positive, but don’t worry – it’ll all be laid out in an easy-to-understand way. Once you’re connected to care, you’ll begin to feel more in control of your health. And remember, if you need a break, you can exit this course and pick up where you left off later on.
