World of Chocolate 2007 Sweet Success!

On Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Hilton Chicago, more than 1,600 guests indulged in chocolate masterpieces created by 30 of Chicago's finest restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers.

The sixth annual World of Chocolate, held in commemeration of World AIDS Day, raised $200,000 net to support AFC's prevention, advocacy, and grantmaking programs - making this year's event AFC's most successful World of Chocolate to date.

During the event, a panel of celebrity judges sampled the culinary creations offered by each of the 30 chocolate vendors in the Internaional Ballroom of the Hilton Chicago. However enviable the job of these judges, choosing one delightful dessert over another proved exceedingly difficult - with two of the four categories yielding a tie!!
