AFC Issues RFP for 2007 Grant Cycle The AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is pleased to invite you to apply for funding through our private grantmaking program - Cycle 23. Agencies interested in applying for funding must return eight copies of the completed application, including all attachments, to AFC no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2007. The 2007 application focuses on three main categories of funding: general operating support, support for new programs (a new program to your agency and/or a program not previously funded through AFC private grantmaking), and support for continuing programs (programs previously funded by AFC). Each category has its own set of questions. Please refer to page two of the application to determine which pages of the application to complete. As with past funding opportunities, only organizations with 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, operating in the Chicago metropolitan area, are eligible to apply. Please note that AFC also requires a supplemental application from agencies that have not applied for funding in the last two years (Cycles 21 and 22). If you applied for funding in either Cycle 21 or 22, regardless of the funding status, you may disregard the supplemental application. Please note that the average grant for Cycle 23 will be $10,000. Printed copies of the application can be requested via email. To obtain hard copies of these forms or if you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Tucker at (312) 922-2322, ext. 515. |
