AFC Honors the Memory of Vincent Gillon


Vincent Gillon

AFC mourns the loss of Vincent Gillon, the executive director of Carepoint Adult, Child and Family Association, who dedicated his life to helping improve the lives of people struggling with addiction, the criminal justice system, poverty, and HIV/AIDS. A passionate educator, counselor, and community organizer, Vince touched many lives and communities. Our prayers go out to his family in this difficult time.

Services for Mr. Gillon are as follows:
Visitation Hours will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 from 5:00- 8:00p.m. at John E. Maloney Funeral Home, 1359 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60626 and Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 9:00- 11:00a.m. at St. Jerome's Church, 1709 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60626.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 11:00a.m.- 12:00p.m. at St. Jerome's Church, 1709 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60626.
