Policy Matters Podcast: Spring in Springfield by AIDSChicago
The Illinois General Assembly closed its most recent session on May 31, 2013, passing four major bills that will have a profound impact on people living with HIV/AIDS in the state. Policy Matters Podcast's host, Lucy Baglin, sits down with the AIDS Foundation of Chicago's state lobbyist, Ramon Gardenhire, to discuss these bills, which now await Governor Pat Quinn's signature. Ramon and Lucy also discuss the marriage equality bill, which passed the state Senate but wasn't called for a vote in the House.
