Jessica Dangles
Jessica Dangles is the Executive Director with the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC). She believes certification is essential to patient safety and public protection and enjoys working with the CBIC board and staff to positively impact infection control practices. She has worked in healthcare associations within licensure, certification, and accreditation roles for over ten years.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies from DePaul University, a Master of Science in Human Resources from Loyola University, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
Kevin Hascher
Kevin Hascher (he/him) is an MD/MPH student at Northwestern University. He works in the ReACH lab within the Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health (ISGMH). He received his BS in Medical Anthropology and Biology from the University of Alabama where he studied PrEP uptake among sexual minority men and people with opioid use disorder. His current work includes investigating cardiovascular health disparities within and between LGBTQ+ populations.
Le’Mikas Lavender
After ten years of service in the United States Navy as a member of the Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command, Le’Mikas transitioned into the healthcare industry, working in settings varying from large academic institutions to smaller community healthcare facilities. Currently, Le’Mikas is in charge of the Quality, Regulatory, and Patient Safety program at Sinai Chicago, which includes 17 outpatient specialty clinics, two acute care hospitals, and one rehabilitation hospital. He is a consultant for domestic violence, workplace violence, and post-traumatic rehabilitation, as well as the development and maintenance of clinical operational standards and continuous regulatory readiness.
Le’Mikas is a member of the National Association of Health Services Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, Chicago Healthcare System Coalition for Preparedness and Response, Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team, Team to End AIDS, and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
Le’Mikas has a BA in Biology and a BA in Religious Studies from Le Moyne College, an MS in Healthcare Administration from Trident University, an MSc in Threat and Disaster Management from The University of Chicago, and an MPP from DePaul University. He is also certified in Metropolitan Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace, COVID19 contact tracing, Workplace Violence, Emergency Management, Certified Professional in-Patient Safety, and Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt).
Neal Netzel
Neal is a Managing Director and Relationship Manager at CIBC Bank with nearly 10 years of experience serving clients in the Healthcare and Senior Living industries. Neal received his bachelors in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters in Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago.
In addition to time spent at the office or visiting with clients, Neal has served as a volunteer Mentor with Chicago Scholars for the past five years. In his leisure time Neal enjoys exploring new cultures and cities, going for runs along the Chicago lakefront and spending time with family. Neal’s exposure to AFC stemmed from his regular participation in the annual AFC 10K race held each fall in the city.
Neal is looking forward to contributing to AFC in any capacity that the organization requests; but is excited to help raise awareness, and work diligently to end the stigmas and inequities towards those living with HIV today.
Ogo Okonkwor
Ogo Okonkwor is a public health professional who has worked in the field for over a decade. She currently works as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager at ICON where she is responsible for the planning and implementation of clinical trials with pharmaceutical companies, and oversees the work of key project members. Before joining ICON, she held positions in nonprofit and academic research in the areas of HIV/AIDS, mental health, domestic violence, and maternal and infant health.
Terra Campbell
Terra Campbell is a black trans woman, advocate, and community relationship professional living in the Chicago Area. She has over 20 years of sales/account management, community engagement, and office management experience.
She works at Howard Brown Health as the Community Impact Coordinator. She oversees volunteer engagement, the client-based Community Advisory Board, and supports partnership cultivation.
Outside of being a member of the Aids Foundation of Chicago’s Associate Board she Is a volunteer mentor with iMentor Chicago and supports a host of nonprofits across Chicago through volunteerism and consulting. She is passionate about missions that support the eradication of HIV, financial literacy, and strategic community empowerment.
In her free time, she enjoys playing with her chihuahua Serenity or listening to a True Crime podcast.
Terra believes that her lived experiences, determination, and organic business acumen made pathways for her success and hopes to inspire others to never give up!

Jack Wolf
Jack Wolf is an attorney practicing in the litigation group at Ropes & Gray LLP. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago and Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, Jack is proud to call Chicago his adoptive home. As both a student and a practitioner, Jack has developed an interest in the intersection of law and public health. After having previously served as a co-president of Northwestern Law’s LGBTQ+ student organization and interning at Lambda Legal (a civil rights and impact litigation organization focused on the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV) Jack is excited to continue engaging in critical advocacy work as part of AFC’s Associate Board. Jack resides in Oak Park with his husband, Marco, and their pets (a dog named Buffy and a cat named Kurby).
India Willis
India Willis received a BS in physiology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health education at Benedictine University.
As a public health program advisor monitoring HIV grants for the State of Illinois Department of Public Health, she recognized her desire to care for those living with HIV and subsequently completed a master’s in nursing, family nurse practitioner program at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Now nationally board certified as a family nurse practitioner and by the Academy of HIV Specialists, she is committed to health equity through comprehensive primary, HIV, and gender affirming care.
India Willis, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC, AAHIVS currently works in The Potocsnak Family Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
Nia Johnson
Hi everyone my name is Nia! My background is primarily in mental health, social work, and criminal justice. I studied Applied Psychology at UIC and volunteered at the crisis hotline there for over 2 years. I’m currently working full time at the Cook County Courthouse in Rolling Meadows and I’m also pursuing a master’s degree at Jane Addams School of Social Work Program. My passion for the AIDS/HIV crisis started from learning about it in school, and being fascinated by the social justice issues that stemmed from the plight of many of the victims of the disease. The taboo of AIDS and other STDs has always been a strong interest of mine, due to having friends and family who struggled with the disease. My hope is to join the board to further eliminate the stigma of being HIV positive, as well as preventing any new positive cases from occurring through education and having a transparent dialogue. I’m also a new cat mom and I love to travel!
Tony Castagnoli
Tony is a professional landscape architect working in Chicago. He is passionate about improving public health outcomes through policy and design. He is experienced in advocacy and sustainability. Tony is an avid rollerblader, and has an interest in forming a rollerblade team for the 2023 AIDS Run/Walk/Roll in the fall. He has two cats named Ash and Rowan, and they are the loves of his life.
