CommunityDirect Team Guide
AIDS Run & Walk Chicago brings together a diverse coalition of fundraising beneficiaries through the CommunityDirect program. Each year HIV and housing organizations raise funds which support their agency’s programs and services through AIDS Run & Walk Chicago. Since 2005, AFC has granted more than $6 million back to participating HIV/AIDS and housing Service agencies through AIDS Run Walk Chicago.AIDS Run & Walk Links
Over 6 months, participating agencies are given one-on-one coaching and capacity-building assistance to support meeting their fundraising and participation minimum. 90% of all funds raised by each CommunityDirect team is returned directly to the participating agency. Teams that meet participation minimums AND surpass fundraising minimums by more than 10% receive an additional 2% of all funds raised!
