Dr. Nana Ama Aya Erzuah-Amenuvor is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Community Health Sciences Division at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health. Her research and practice focus on HIV prevention, global health, PrEP access among Black communities, and maternal and child health, with work spanning both the United States and Ghana. She teaches courses in program planning, evaluation, public health practice, and health equity, and is committed to community-based participatory research and student mentorship. Dr. Erzuah-Amenuvor is also leading the development of a faculty-led study abroad program to Ghana that integrates culture, service, and public health learning. Beyond academia, she contributes to evaluation and public health program development efforts, including the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Project.
