Philip is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in Patient Access Services and Ambulatory Care practices. In his current role as Chief System Access Operations Officer at UChicago Medicine, he is responsible for the overall operations and strategy that drive expeditious access to care for the organization. Prior to joining UChicago Medicine, Philip was the Vice President of Access Operations at Rush University Medical Center and previously held numerous leadership positions in both patient access and ambulatory operations at Advocate Health and Ascension Health. Philip is an adjunct professor in the Graduate College of Health Sciences at Rush University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health sector management and a master’s degree in public service management, both from DePaul University. He is a Certified Healthcare Access Manager and the current President for the National Association of Healthcare Access Management. Philip and his husband live in Wilmette, with their 2 children.
