An estimated 1 in 16 Black men and 1 in 32 Black women will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetimes. It’s time to put an end to these sobering statistics. Help us spread the word about National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) on Sunday, Feb. 7th.

Below is a roundup of 6 things you can do for #NBHAAD:  

  1. Get tested for HIV. You can find a testing center in your area on http://hivtest.cdc.gov, or by visiting one of our featured HIV testing sites in Chicago.
  2. Attend a community event like #PrEP4Love LIVE presents CRAZYSEXYCOOL or Black Lives Matter: Research, Policy and Program. Visit the official NBHAAD website for events happening near you.
  3. Help promote HIV and testing by lending your voice and sharing information about NHBAAD on social media. Here are some sample posts and images  to use leading up to and on #NBHAAD:
